A topic about Alan Greenspan

Hello friends from America. What Alan Greenspan mean for you, and what is your point of view. Please help leave comment below.

Wealth Effect

I am reading a book about United States Federal Reserve. In Federal Reserve point of view in macroeconomics, when economics is goods people spend more. This we heard a lot, but how in reality.

First, people salary increase. Second, nominal wealth increase, for instance housing /stock value. If a person own a house, and that house's value increase 100,000 dollars, example, an average person will increase 6000 dollars spending that year. To contribute the spending by this nominal wealth increase, they might arrange contract against their homes, through borrowing, or simply saving less form their salary.

When good economic turns to bad economic, this spending caused by nominal wealth increase can hurt people financial planning very bad. During that time, people salary decrease while still need to pay their credit card payment.

Dean Karnazes - 50 States, 50 Marathons, 50 Days

Before anything, this is Dean,

I remember this achievement when I was reading Runners World magazine when I was still in States. At that time, I was not really award the difficulty of this achievement, such as how to overcome the logistics problems and how to find 50 marathon per day.

Dean Karnazes has a wife, two kids, and both still living parents. His dad was really an awesome man. Below are some interesting story about him from Wiki:

"In junior high, Karnazes met Jack McTavish, a track coach who became Karnazes’ mentor and introduced him to the appeal of long-distance running. McTavish's basic running instructions were simple: "Go out hard and finish harder." Using this motto as a basis, that season Karnazes won the one-mile (1.6 km) California State Long-Distance Championship held on the Mt SAC track. At the end of the race, Coach McTavish commented: "Good work son, how'd it feel?" To this Karnazes replied: "Well, going out hard was the right thing to do. It felt pretty good." The coach replied: "If it felt good, you didn’t push hard enough. It’s supposed to hurt like hell." A week after the race, Karnazes' father's job was transferred to San Clemente. These were the last comments the coach ever said to Karnazes, who has stated that he lives by these words to this day.[2"

The whole running story started Dean 30's birthday, and then he just decided he ran. That night, he just left his friends who were celebrating his b-day in the bar and hit the road for 30 miles. He called home to his wife and said he need be picked up. That really freak out his wife and that how the journey began.

There are may inspiration mini-details. During his journey, a Japanese talked into his wife to make their wedding 1 day advance in order for him to run with Dean. he flows through the Pacific Ocean with his wife and run with dean; a women lost her leg because a disease and run with dean with an artificial leg; others such as a three time cancer surviver; a State senator; school kid who finish her first marathon, etc.

I like to write longer, however that will make this post everlasting long. Here are the things he said: 1 don't want one man to prove anything, I want inclusion and unit with people ( that how he behave the whole time with such amazing friendliness); If I live 90 years old, I would slept 30 years of life, but I only want to sleep 15 years; kid love out door.
