Blogging vs Facebook

Recently, I have announced that I am suspending my Facebook account. What I just mean is I will stopped using it. Although, I have peaked a few times lately. I asked myself a question: Is facebook helping me to reach others, making better friendship with others. My answer is no. It is sad. Facebook have helped me to find the long lost friends. For example, classmate from elementary school, Friend, host family, and neighbour friend in Hungry.

Be honest, most of the time I use facebook is peeking other people feeds and pictures. Or, just watching video from youtube in facebook. This is where facebook fail. If you have a bond with someone, because one and you have a emotion connection. Are people having in-depth expression in facebook? Traditionally, communication is two way. Is most of your communication one way or two ways? I would say even Facebook messenger doing better job than Facebook.

So, Facebook isn't helping me to connect with my friends and wasting my time in watching video. I said I have enough.

Blogging makes me feel I can express myself in depth. Although, I also share youtube video and other people pictures. And, you learnt things too. For example, I receive a notification from google (because Blogspot which I am using is from Google) something related to cookies usage from European Union Laws. Of course, I know about cookies but what is cookies. It is something record how you interact with the website. The notification said by the new European Union Law, I am required to notify visitors of my blog that I am using cookies. ( I am not using cookies anyway). This is learning and fun.

International Space Station / The Martian

First, enjoy this beautiful pictures.

Source: NASA. (I lost the direct link)

Where is it? London.

A video come across me by accident named Science vs Cinema: THE MARTIAN - Full Episode.
This is not only fun to watch, it is inspiring too. Watch the movie first to get the most out of what they are saying.

Then, plant can grow on space isn't science fiction anymore. A zinnia flower has grown on the International Space Station

And, there is a live video you can watch the earth. "The International Space Station with ESA’s Columbus laboratory flies 400 km high at speeds that defy gravity – literally. At 28 800 km/h it only takes 90 minutes for the weightless laboratory to make a complete circuit of Earth. Astronauts working and living on the Station experience 16 sunrises and sunsets each day." And you can see the real time location of the ISS from here: Where is the International Space Station?

Broadcast live streaming video on Ustream

And it is more fun to watch with Adam Savage trying to replicate the Martian space suit.

Last days of Festival Walk AMC

Festival Walk AMC is closing tomorrow , 3rd of January, 2016. It is sad. The reason is cinema couldn't afford the rent for the shopping centre. I have never watched a movie here, but I am sure it is for many. Cinema shouldn't close like this for me.
