Faith and frustration

It seems frustration and faith are contradiction term. Normally, when I frustrated something is because I have a difficulty a problem that I don't know how to solve. Then, I run to God and ask Him for help and answer. The question remains is that how I remain faithful in the future when I don't even know the presence.

Faith is the certainty of the future, the unknown, the unforeseeable. If there is no doubt, faith do not grow. Now, more I think about it, the more I recognize the presence of God in my life time. A friend of mine talked with me on the phone one day " Vincent, even though your English is very shitty, I have no idea how you can do so great in the MBA program" Because, 70% of time I feel really shitty and defeated.

What's next? In the meantime we got frustrated, what do we do?

Last class for the year!

The presence of God

Mn... When I was in communion liberation meeting yesterday, I thought if there is a girl in front of me who I would really love to date with, and I will never able to date her, then what the meaning of recognizing the presence of Christ. If the girl don't go out with me because she don't like my personality, then what those emotion mean to our life. For example I am a very grumpy person, I don't ask God to make me become a grumpy personal everyone hated. So, should I think my life is really sucks or I should think that oh I recognize the presence of Christ, so everything is under God plan and she is not mean to be with me. By recognize the presence of Christ, it might make me feel better, but it does not make me less grumpy or earn me a girlfriend. Mn... I don't get the catholic teaching yet.

I.T. Appointment

I am so mad that when I arrive St. Joseph, Professor Chris said it is a phone appointment. He never mentioned about it was a phone appointment until the same day morning 10 o'clock through e-mail. (Hobo don't have internet access) The reason it only mentioned at 10 o'clock, is because he decided not to go to work. When I at the front door of his office, he has to tell me that he is not even in the office.

I am so cool. I have flip a American for Coat Hanger.

Penn Vally Park

Downtown Kansas City

It was a lovely weather. My friend and I had a good talk too.
P.S. We went to Gate Barbeque for lunch.

"America" ?

Lately, I am thinking what my America experience mean to me in the future. Beside my education degree, where will those people and things I met and saw be in my life. I began to conclude that Americans are very bad of making connection and keeping in touch of people. I become very sad about it, and confuse my future. I start to think I should finish my degree asap and go home. This week, my life become miserable and desperate.

Perceptive from my friend of what law mean to us

Joey Orrino: People come to lawyers when they're in a crisis. Lawyers can minister to spouses seeking divorce, counsel teens in legal trouble, advise conflicted businessmen to do what's right. The law addresses issues of the whole person. It is not a set of procedures or an argumentative technique. It is God's means of confronting wrong, establishing justice, defending the weak, and promoting the public good (Total Truth)

You are my sunshine

Rachel Ruhl is trying to teach me this song:

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are gray
You'll never know dear, how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away

I'll always love you and make you happy,
If you will only say the same.
But if you leave me and love another,
You'll regret it all some day:

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are gray
You'll never know dear, how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away

You told me once, dear, you really loved me
And no one else could come between.
But not you've left me and love another;
You have shattered all of my dreams:

Robot

I don't really remember much detail of the dream. I remember that I was standing somewhere and then I noticed a girl not far away who was around 17 years old. My instinct told me that she is a robot. I approached to her, and turned out I was right. My dream is always dreamed in color and involve many thinking and freedom of choose live in reality. I woke up and was amused that one day in human history, we will able to create a robot so much like human. They also involve in love and friendship. And was pretty amazing that their capacity are much greater than human, but at the same time they can just look like 17 and you can't really distinguish the different between them and man.

The dream was kind of like we were chasing bad guys like Dark Knight, and the robot girl was my companionship. We ended up in a super huge U.S. military facility, where I get lost a lot. The dream ended here...

Book Review

When I was in Simple House, I spent every evening to read the book 21st Century Economic. It has 300 pages. After I got back campus, I procrastinated my book review paper and weekly news discussion. It turned out, the professor like my paper. She gave me 95/100. She said I did a good job and it is not easy to stand up my point and try to criticize the author. Tonight, I am very happy.

Stressful and homecoming week

Last weekend is homecoming, some many things happened in campus.
It's a sad news for me that Renee and Adie couldn't come, because I would like go to the homecoming dance with either one of them.Anyway, on Friday evening we have Pep Rally. The drumline from our school is so awesome. I recorded that but I accidentally has deleted the tape. After Pep Rally, an awesome firework was operated by Alicia's father. Then I went to visit my first rugby game. It is pretty ruleless.
I saw Sara Figone and Cassie. It was so nice to see them again. They all are teacher in somewhere else.

On Saturday, I met Kaylin, Kaatherine Linger, Desira, and Erica. We chatted an hour, then we went to visit the football game.Stacy Rains was there too. In the evening, I didn't do anything except had some drinks and watched some movies. I was very stressful.

the Tuesday after the week of Fall break (Simple House)

I woke up at 5:30 this morning, and started to write my papers.
First one is the assignment of Peru FTA (Free Trade Agreement) with
U.S. in 2006
Second one is the assignment of book review: the 21st century economy.
Basically, I was sitting at my old "headquarters" until 4.
When I was hunger and have no student meal card.
Then I found a conference room that has many leftover,
so thanks God a lot.
Then I am frustrated about looking people to help me proofread my papers
In the end I had 2 pages got proofread and half pages did not get any
proofread.
In the evening 6:30 to 9:00 I had class
9-10 I had community liberation meeting
10 have a cupcake birthday party for Tina Henning.

Juliane was still making fun to me that China had snake soup. She told me the day before she was watching a TV show and it said snake was the second weird thing in the world people would eat. I wonder one day I should make her a snake soup but tell her that it is a chicken soup. When we were going to Freiburg-Buchholz, we found a time to sneak out to buy a late lunch. I brought a Döner with beef in it, then I talked to her that the Döner might be taste better with chicken, she responded: probably because chicken tasted like snake.

Thu, December 25, 2007 13:36

Hahaha.... You had to sing German song for German christmas. It was what they said to me that I had to do in christmas eve. I met a guy in the train who is Juliane's friend. He called buszi, it sound like puszi, which means gay in Hungary. I got a book from Juliane's Family for christmas gift, which is about Black forest, it is around Freiburg, where Juliane live. Julaine's Father said 'he don't want to know what will I say about German Christmas to my family' I said: I will say I have to sing to earn my food and they eat Chinese, luckily I am Singaporean. Jualine said people from Germany “hate” Chinese, they “buy” Chinese every christmas and cook them. She said she should call her family this year they don't need to buy a Chinese because a Chinese come from America to be cooked. I met a friend from Juliane, he said my name sound like a mobile phone.

Crazy American

These crazy peoples masquerade themselves in late evening;
and knock people doors for candy.
And Greg is wearing a woman's pants

My kindergarten teacher's bedtime story

Cecilia Marie Therese Conklin As St. Therese is my classroom saint, we colored pictures of her in class today. I put one of the coloring sheets on one of my boys' desks. He smiles at the picture and shakes his head: "OH yeah.. St. Therese! SHE'S my girl!":-)

My LOVELY housemateS!!!

This is Thomas, who adopted me when I am homeless in America.

Today is my fifth day of being homeless in America. In the meantime, I am moving around and today I have moved into my “mum” place to get prepare for the long cold war among me, my housemate and the electricity company. My very “smart” housemate told me that: “ The house is still good, we still have water and gas”; and he tried to convinced me that it is pretty normal living without power, because he has candle in the house. These peoples (American) are just too smart, I just can’t live with these guy anymore.
